PROIKAS Kasseri cheese originates from Sohos, Thessaloniki, Greece. This cheese has maintained its original recipe for over a century; made exclusively from selected sheep’s and goat’s milk native to the Sohos region, without any preservatives or additives.

PROIKAS Kasseri endures a long maturation process, this in addition to the cheese’s low moisture gives it a unique flavour and idiosyncratic after-taste.

PROIKAS Kasseri enjoys the PROTECTED DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN (PDO) status from the EUROPEAN UNION. In addition to this Proikas Kasseri has been international recognized as a quality cheese winning the 3 STARS GREAT TASTE AWARD and the WORLD CHEESE AWARD in the United Kingdom; as well as the GOLD AWARD MONDE SELECTION in Brussels.

PROIKAS Kasseri constitutes an internationally recognized quality cheese that is distinctly and unmistakably Greek.

Enjoyed as a simple table cheese paired with wine or as a snack. It can also be fried as Saganaki or incorporated into any Greek dish requiring cheese, whether that be Tiropites or Pastitsio.
