Traditional and handmade wheat rusks (known as “dakos” in Greek), made using only the purest ingredients. This is an old-time classic recipe from Chania in Crete.
KLAPAKIS BAKERY Wheat Rusks contain no preservatives or chemical additives, and are rich in vitamin B.
Soak your “dakos” in water for a few seconds to soften a little. Then top them with chopped tomatoes, crumbled feta, capers, olives or anchovies and Greek oregano. Drizzle generously with Greek extra virgin olive oil on top.
