1kg pork mince (included in this pack)
4 large potatoes – only drain half the water (included in this pack)
3 medium onions
1 1/2 tsp pepper (included in this pack)
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Full tsp of salt (included in this pack)
1 tbsp dried mint
1 1/2 cup chopped parsley
2 medium eggs
You also need plenty of vegetable oil to fry the keftedes.
Using either a manual grater or food processor, grate the potatoes and onion on the small grater option.
Place all the ingredients, (except the oil), in a bowl, and mix together well.
Form 1 1/2 tbsp of the mixture into oval or ball shapes (you should have enough to make about 20-25 keftedes).
Pour the vegetable oil into a frying pan to a depth of 2–3 cm and place over a medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the keftedes and cook for 10–12 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
Top tip: If you want them extra special, roll in flour before frying!
